چکیده

La medicina tradicional y/o folklórica abarca conjunto de prácticas, creencias y conocimientos sanitarios basados en el uso recursos naturales como terapias espirituales técnicas manuales buscando estabilizar la salud humana. especie Eryngium foetidum L forma parte del folklor arraigado que posee población cubana con religiones variadas. presente investigación ofrece resultados un estudio exploratorio, descriptivo para L. aplicando método etnofarmacológico a una muestra comunidad Consejo Popular “Agüero- Mar Verde” municipio Santiago Cuba. Emplea instrumento entrevista, caracterizar especie. Fueron entrevistadas 36 personas, predominando sexo femenino (69,44%.) grupo etáreo entre 58-67 años. El 100% los entrevistados manifestó tener conocimiento especie, estos; fines medicinales 19 personas (52,73%). Se informaron total once usos, siendo más reportado alivio afecciones respiratorias (catarro común). órgano planta utilizado correspondió raíz. 78,95% informó decocción estado fresco usual obtener acción medicinal ser administrada por via oral. Los usos frecuentes reportados se relacionaron metabolitos secundarios presentes las plantas según monografías oficiales. elaboró además cápsula informativa finalidad hacer extensivo potencial científico avala folklóricos atribuidos
